Teaching Procedures

Before beginning my teaching practice, I took the first step of preparing a clear and structured lesson plan. I then reviewed it with my supervisor, Miss Mai, to ensure it aligned with the learning standards. This plan served as a roadmap for each session, helping me organize the content and activities for the classroom effectively.

Managing Time and Organizing Tasks

I conducted my teaching practice in classes 6C and 8D. During each session, I adhered to my lesson plan, ensuring that the activities stayed on track and that I covered the material within the allotted time.

Management of the Classroom

In managing the classroom, I set clear rules to maintain a structured and positive environment. I encouraged students to participate through Q&A sessions and allowed them to discuss with peers if they encountered challenging questions. I also checked in with students frequently to address any questions on the material or assignments. To keep students engaged, I incorporated interactive activities and small games related to the lesson, which made learning more enjoyable, particularly in subjects like physics.

Solving Problems

When students encountered difficulties, I would re-explain the steps for solving the problems. I then asked a student to solve a similar problem on the board, applying the method I demonstrated, which reinforced their understanding and confidence in the concepts.
